I have obtained a dime that has something embedded in it. You can see that when it was made that a peace of metal got between it and caused a lump on both sides. It is a "1989 D" dime. I have never seen or heard of anything like this and would like someone to give me an estimate. Thanks *Fill free to Email me

Would have to actually SEE the dime. Whatever is embedded (it may be something other than metal) does not make the dime more valuable based solely on that fact. These types of things don't normally bring in thousands (or even hundreds of dollars). Also, "1989D" is as common as dirt.
