No , but they have lost their way . The Republicans today are not the ones of my fathers day .We knew exactly what they stood for , less government , fiscal spending , etc ....Today , they are so intent on getting the upper hand on the Democrats that they never seem to get anything done in Congress . I have given up on them for now and will never vote for them , till they find their way back to the real Republican Party , that I was proud to belong too.

I don't think your True Republicans were ever liberal, I think what's happened is that the corporatistas and their liberal ilk have finally held enough sway to bend the heads of the republicans currently in office. Also, some of the 'republicans' used to be 'democrats' before the money got good...

Stop them from educating themselves. And keep them out of the city.. You don't want them experiencing anything that would make them understand what other people go through. They must be very close minded and secluded from anyone whos views differ.. That outta work..
Examles- Dick Cheney turned Liberal on the Gay Marriage thing after he found out about his daughter.. Nancy Reagan turned Liberal on Stem Cell research after what happened with Ronald. The minuteman guy on 30 days changed drastically when he had to live with the Mexican illegals..
Republicans do not care unless they experience it for themselves. If you can keep that from happening, they will never change..

The truth is the far right in the Republican Party has pushed many people away and it's getting worse all the time.
Some that considered them conservatives know when too far right is too far wrong. And it's not so much that they're becoming liberal as it is that they're becoming more moderate.

As we near the elections, politicians become smaller targets the closer to the middle they can get. It's amazing especially during debates, how close all their views are on any given subject. Suddenly, they are all moderate, Republicans and Democrats alike.

No they're aren't they have been more timid until recently.
To encourage them not to be timid is continue to elect republicans to all 3 houses of government. Dems are scared of this look at how some people on here react? That alone should be incentive enough.

Republicans are finally pulling their heads out of their asses and realizing that the little Nazi bastard in the White house is a murdering Fascist bent on the destruction of the world for oil and profit.

I doubt it. Many people still have standards and knowledge of right from wrong. People become more acceptable of things over time, yet many on the right do have a core.
Now, check this out from the leftist fanatics.

you cant stop the force of human conciousness evolving into a higher place. Try to be at peace with the fact that you are along for the ride in something far bigger than yourself or your party.

nah, all the political parties are starting to split within there own ranks, doesnt matter, they are all crooked anyway, all politicians care about there own pockets and what promises they can make to get in office, I'll vote when they offer to cut the governments salaries down and put that money towards the real citizens and people that matter......
