Can I use a controller (like Xbox360) on Quake 4 for my PC?

I use an Xbox 360 controller for most of my computer games (GTA's, NFS's, etc)...but I can't seem to get Quake 4 on my PC to respond to the controller. It only lets me use a mouse and keyboard combination (which blows in comparison to a controller). This isn't a very "high priority" question, but I was just curious if anyone had any expertise on the subject. Thanks.

The controller u had mentioned does not support for Quake 4

There are different kind of joysticks for the PC ... check some PC shops
