Should 'royalty' be classed as 'discrimination of birth'?

To me, all babies are born with my full respect and admiration, no matter the colour of their skin, or to what family they were born into. Whether that respect grows or diminishes through time, depends entirely on the individual.

None of us have a say as to what class of family we are going to be born into. We'll just call it 'luck of birth' if we are fortunate enough not to be born into a life of poverty! So what 'right' therefore does anyone have to claim a 'right to rule' simply because they were fortunate to be born into a 'royal family'. People should 'earn' the right to be leaders, rather than have it bestowed upon them through inheritance.

What 'right' for example does the British Royal Family have to live in palaces, when so many of the so-called 'commoners' of their country are forced to live on the street?

It is wrong for people to discriminate against someone simply because of the colour of their skin. Discrimination of birth should be equally abhorred!

It is the luck of the draw...nobody gets to pick their parents. The odds are we would all be commoners. For that I am grateful to be among them. I can't imagine being born into a family only to learn I'd have to rule the country when I grew up. It's a heavy load but we only see the perks. Too, I can't imagine having a staff to dote on me...shoo...shoo...I can do that all by myself. No thanks, I like my space.
