Now from the early 60s, but there was one we went to a lot in Palatka, Florida in the early 80s. I liked it a lot! Thanks for bringing it up.

Trust me, you're NOT getting old, just fonder for the older, better things. Have a great day!

OMG! Yes, I do. Although from the sound of it I'm not as old as you. Hee hee. I remember we had a Burger Chef as our first fast food chain. It had to have been in '79 or '80 that I remember it. The biggest thing I remember are that there were kids meals that had a plastic car cover type thing where you got to affix the stickers yourself. I thought it was the coolest place on the planet. Now that's all I eat. Now I wish we had drive throughs with REAL food:)

Ah yes! Burger Chef! The commercials had Burger Chef and Jeff. I remember getting a plastic, square record in a fun meal there. It was a halloween theme, and a witch was giving Jeff 3 wishes. He said, unable to decide, "I wish...I wish...I wish..." and the witch said that was his 3 wishes! Don't know why that silly memory has lingered.

They turned into Hardee's in Indiana.

OMG! Yes, I DO remember that! Burger Chef and Jeff! There was one just 5 miles from my house. Then it was a Hardee's, and now it's an Arby's. Wow, that brought back some memories!

Oh, yeah. I loved Burger Chef. It was so cheap and tasty. I don't know how they made their sauce, it was almost like a milky mayonaise. Awesome. And their shakes were good too.
