Im five weeks pregnant and I heard that its good to start prenatal pills as soon as possible, well my doctors appointment isnt until the 15th so I bought some over the counter prenatal pills called OneSource. It says that it has Folic Acid & iron along with calcium & vitamin D. So are these okay to take? I was just wondering if any of you have taken them

I took them all the way through my pregnancy. Folic acid in moderation is good for you and the baby keep up with those, and let your doctor know you're taking them and which kind you're taking so that he can monitor it. If you're overly concerned about the amount of folic acid in the prenatal vitamins call your doctor and ask him. He'd be more qualified to know exactly how much you need
