Yes, Big Brother is watching us, and the Yahoo gods. About a month or so ago, it was reported on the NBC nightly news that our government is getting information from Google. Every search you do on Google is recorded for review. It is public knowledge that they are spying on us. But it hasn't hurt Google now has it?

To an extent. The All seeing eye "of Sauron", as far as the net is concerned is able to pick up on certain "flags" if you will. If a search is made for "how to make pipe bombs", or the like, a flag goes up on the FBI's computers at homeland security. Also, they randomly access people's internet history thru google, ect. If there is a history of visiting "questionable sites", then further investigation is made

it depends.on where you live.on how much trackable behaviors you do.on what profile you fit into.on where you work and the kind of job you have.on what you did in your past that left records-miltary-credit-arrests-civil records-if you belong to any kind of consumer/marketing that keeps track of your purchases.some of the watching is for law enforcement/security.some is for consumer research/inventory control.some is to keep track of financial activity.some is of a voyueristic nature because people love to know dirty things about other people out of spite or fun.

some, but not as much as people think. first, because most peoples' lives are boring. work, home, hang out, that's about it. government isn't interested in that. second, because there's billions of people in the world, how the heck would they keep track of everyone?

Since we now live in Orwellian times, the answer is "sometimes". Since I've got nothing to hide, I'm not going to allow it to bother me. There's not much we can do about it, anyway.
