please explain to me which i need for dial up internet. an adaptor or a router? thank you?

all u need is a telephone socket, and rj11 cable to connect with
and a modem either pci or exeternal these cost about $10 bucks for internal not sure about external only a few people still use dialup since its so slow.
u dont need any special adaptors or router thats for broadband only.

First you do not need a router for a dial up connection, what you need is a modem. Contact your ISP (internet service provider)and ask them. You can use a double phone line connection adapter so you can plug in your phone and computer at the same time.
