AOL has chatrooms - I don't know if you need to be a member to join them - but there is no cost to those who use them.

MSN also has chatrooms - but they are now part of their premium membership (you pay).

I haven't looked for Yahoo chatrooms - but believe they are still around - check it out.

they do have local chat rooms, but it has the same problem with those freakin' bots. now these days, it is nothing but bots in all the chat rooms. i used to be a part of a group with real people. it was called D33Z_NUTZ and i was STARV1N_MARV1N
