TWO FACTS:
1- Any people can be chosen ... but what for? A people can be chosen to be servants ... killers... stupid ... or whatever. As for the Jews, they were chosen as per scriptures to dissiminate justice and guidance, while what we can see now is not that.
2- In the Islamic Holy Quraan, Muslims are also chosen to be the best people .... not as Arabs cuz Islam is not for Arabs only .... but as Muslims. That's why a real Muslim is normally pious, just and honest. Forget about the Arab rulers you see now ... these rulers are just slaves and trails of the west so as to have their sons next rulers.

Oh, come on, sister. Hizbollah is defeating Israel and the camel has wings. Who are you kidding?
The Jewish people is the chosen one as far as IT concerned, like any other nation would think of itself. I bet that the people of India, the people of Egypt and the people of America think the same way about THEIR nation and religion, it is not an exclusive thing for the Jews.
But do remember this: Jews have much longer history than Christians and Muslims, the Jewish people is one of the most ancient nations in the world and it survived thousands of tragedies. You may think what you want, but history had proven time and again the amazing survivability of the Jewish people.

my dear jews are chosen to wonder arround the world yes. chosen not to be the kind people yes. chosen to kill innecent women&childeren in palestine ,lebanon etc yes. but looking at the history massayah = massih = jesus = eessa son of merry = christ are all one and when jesus was born he was the massiyah for the whole world at that time but the politician and not the rightious jews they handed him over and the jesus became( as the christine belive ) crossified.those who were the beliver and rightiuos believed in real god they followed the teachings of massih= jesus.
last but not least the same people (non beliver jews ) inorder to stablish them selves they said that they are awaiting for messayah and through the long years after jesus reserection people got hopless and jesus didnot comback so you see that after 150 some years the real belivers in christ started to think that we are forgetting the teachings of jesus.see the matrix is being solved those jew who killed jesus they start to write the so called the bible.they knew that what should they put in the teachings that noone eventually find the facts. but as i was reading the holy quran the book that muslims they belive and the teachings that the prophet mohammed while he was allive was written and is not played by any human. allah says that the jesus was not crrosifed and by the order of god massiyah was resercted and he live among us till the day of gudjement and all the real belivers when they read the truth they have to follow their faith. now you see that the jews today are the selected people that they eventually go to hell and eventually god would take the inneccent peoples revenge that they were disobeyed out of their concious.historically all the schollars who changed people path toward the devil were jews.
i do pardon for the spelling

Well , the question is, "chosen for what"? The Jewish people were chosen by God to be the human family for the Messiah to be born among us. Now the Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah and fulfills the prophecies. The Jews believe that the Messiah is still to come, to be born among them. As for what the word "Messiah' means,,, that is another question.

Do yourself an educational favor. Buy a Bible in the New Living Translation. Start reading from Genesis to Malachi. Then, if you still don't get it , read from Matthew to Revelation. In fact, you'll miss the best half of the account if you don't read the latter half of THE BOOK (The Bible - which means "Book").
