Month One:
Mommy
I am only 8 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
Every time I hear it
I wave my arms and legs.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.
Month Two
Mommy
today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.
Month Three
You know what Mommy
I'm a boy!!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can't hear me.
Month Four
Mommy
my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.
Month Five
You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what's abortion?
Month Six
I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!
Month Seven
Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?
Every Abortion Is Just . . .
One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.
If you're against abortion, post this as...
I don't care if I lose friends over this

i am neither , if you are raped, and 12 yrs old, but able to have the baby, depending on the situation, i wouldn't think that an abortion, would be all that wrong, but if you just made a "mistake" and didn't protect yourself, then no, you should keep the child. I don't think abortion is good, but sometimes, it is even better for the mom. doctors often make calls , that the baby should be terminated for the sake of the mother.

As I have read your question and remarks and story for the first time it has had myself thinking of the the things that I have seen in my 54 years of life. There are things that I have seen and heard from the the many years that I have been around this world and not just the United States of America. You as the many others that have posted their opinion on this subject I respect their thoughts and answers. I have always looked at a situation from an area from which it may come and from what the result that have arisen from the out come. I allow my spirit guide and God help myself trust what I fell weather it is right or wrong. As a man that has helped raise his 3 grand children and at least another estimated 12 or more families with children. I have seen some of the best that has come out of all the conversation of pro-life or the right to have an abortion and some of the worst. At my age, my older and younger friends say that I have gained the wisdom of many years past my years and seen to many things that are not right. I never had a child hood and I started to take care of my brothers and sisters at the age of 13. When I was in the service during Viet Nam my 13 year old sister got pregnant and when I was gone the money that I sent home was used to abort the child. This bothered myself very much and when I found that my own mother thought that it was best because of the drugs she was on I concured. God has a way of making things right and now my sister has 2 boys and she lives day to day with MS. I have had girls in school that have tried to keep thier baby and ended up on welfare and on the street because the parents didn't care for what they did. They were 15 years old and quit school and ended up loosing their child to the system that helped bring them into this world. I have watched as the pro-life and pro-abortion movement have caused so much confusion on these young girls that they have taken their life along with the their unborn child. I have known women who have given themselves self abortions after being gang raped and now can't have the pleasure of a child. I myself in my life time have seen so many rights and wrongs with all of this that people loose the site of the well being of the most important thing and that is the person pregnant. I had a friend that was pregnant in high school and she kept the boy and now is a teacher and is always teaching save sex. I for one am not for pro-life or pro-abortion until some one can show me how they can also help all the ones that are involve in this whole mess. God Bless you all for you thoughts and may you some day make your decisions based on what you have seen.

Right on! I've probably seen something like this before, but it's a story that needs to be told, with only a few factual corrections, as often as necessary to get the point out that abortion is genocide.
As for the comment by luvbuggies, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Pro-abortion groups force their opinions on the people all the time, they're just more subtle about it--i.e., those Planned Parenthood ads the networks show now, which use the varied "services" the organization provides to conceal the fact that they're an abortion advocacy group. The reason they're not more direct is that they know the majority of people are pro-life and would shut them down if they pushed the issue.

When I was young,I thought that abortion was no big deal,I thought kids having babies probably ruined both the Mom and the Baby's life.BUT,I regret paying for an abortion all those years ago,I think that abortion stops a beating heart and that just can't be right. Many people would love to have that baby,so endure those 9 months and give that heart a chance! Maybe you are not ready to be a parent, but others, good people are willing to help!

You have every right to post what you feel deeply about
Do not listen to the harsh words of detractors.
While I may have a different view than you I would defend your right to express your opinion with all my intelligence. It is a very sad poem and should bring much emotion to any reader and as I said I do have a different
view on abortion I will not try to dissuade you here in this forum.Congratulations on standing up for what you believe in .:)

I think you may have a couple of your facts wrong. I am pretty sure that in month 1 the fetus is smaller than 8 inches. They're hardly that much bigger when they're born!
Also, anyone aborting in the third trimester like that is in for trouble whether or not they're for it.

yawn. this subject is so tired. i get your view. you're pro life, right?
stop pushing yourself and your beliefs onto others. you don't see pro choice people out on the streets or Internet trying to get pregnant women to have abortions do you. it's an individual choice. i am pro choice not pro abortion. i myself could not go through with one unless absolutely necessary. as in the fetus has died and is rotting inside of me. and yes that can happen.
p.s. your personal beliefs shouldn't interfere with true friendship.
