I love how people have such pride in their team that they can't be honest and say who the real best teams are. I really don't know yet but a few to start with are Denver, Cincinati, and Indy (Until the playoffs).

Some hopefulls...Carolina, Chicago, Dallas, and Washington...we'll wait until the season starts to know for sure.

To be honest, I think that the Steelers actually are the best team in the league and won the Super Bowl on merit. It wasn't a fluke that in 2004, they became the first AFC team to go 15-1 in a season. Their 11-5 record last year was more of a fluke, because Ben Roethlisberger missed games with knee injuries. Had he been healthy all year, the Steelers would likely have won 13 or 14. The Steelers return almost every player this year -- they lost Bettis, Randle El, Chris Hope, and Kimo von Oelhoffen, but that's it -- and Ben seems to be completely recovered from his accident. I don't know if the Steelers will win the Super Bowl again this year, but they really ought to be favored. I'd be surprised if they don't win 12 to 14 this season.

The best team in the NFL is always the Super Bowl Champs. Until somebody knocks them of that throne they have to be considered the top team. Not saying that because I'm a Steeler fan...when the Patriots were Champs they were #1, now it's Pittsburgh, who knows who'll take that spot this year. I just know who I'm pulling for.

i am gonna say the eagles. they have had a all around good team for many years. last year they went down because of Mcnabb and alot of injuries. This year they will surprise alot of critics. mcnabb will take them to the finals if he stays healthy. he did it with nothing for 4 strait years. their defense will be really good, and they have great wide receivers now( i know i know theres no TO but the heck with em). watch out for the eagles this year! Mcnabb is 20lbs lighter and faster, the defense is beefed up, and of course the have a pro bowl secondary; oh don't forget westbrook, and the rest of the offense. There are alot of good teams this year, but some have either a good defense and no offense or vise versa.

the best team I had to say the bengals. They had all the weapon they need , for passing they had Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson, they also running the ball well with rudi johnson , they rank 8 in defense, and is the only team in the NFL who has good defense and ofense.

The Seahawks are strongest in the NFC, but the AFC is more competitive. I'd say the Colts look really good, but my pick is the Bengals, of all teams!
