In Latin America and North America, Gold brought wars and extinction In Columb's times!
In Saudi Arabia, Oil brought death and destruction for the past decade!
Water is happiness for poor people. But with this polution I do not think we will have much left!
If you are a superpower that invades other countries to steal their oil and gold, you will be wealthy ! But do you want that?

Life without water is impossible. Presence of water on earth means the possibility of human life and completion of basic necessities.
It is up to us (THE HUMAN BEINGS) how we define LIFE?
If LIFE is
- Living and Imaginative Future for Excellence
(Whole world can live happily even in the absence of Oil and Gold)
If LIFE is
- Loss of Incentives due to Fantasizing and Eagerness (Oil and Gold both are important to satisfy the human greed)
Hence it is human definition of LIFE which determines the value and importance of these elements.

I think the most expensive thing on the market right now is OIL. It is used the most and because it is a ne cessity. We can live without gold and well , water will be found anywhere.
