kareem was the best natural shooter among the three

Kareem would, he had somewhat of a storke and good distance. Wilt and Shaq cant even make freethrows so how can they win a three point contest. Kareem was an 80% free throw shooter so he would have the best chance in a 3 point contest among these three Laker greats. Wilt didnt even have a 3point shot when he played so he would be automatically eliminated. Shaq cant make a shot outside of the post. Kareem could play inside and outside since his best and famous shot was the deadly skyhook which was a 10-15 ft jumper.

Kareem because he can simply hook them from the 3-point line. Never Shaq because he cant even make free throws consistently. Wilt can score 100 but not from the outside.

seeing as tho shaq cant shoot past 6 or 7 feet, and even when hes out there his baby hook is inconsistent, id say he wouldnt win. kareem had a nicer touch from out a bit further, but that was when he was using his hook, and i really wouldnt trust using a 1 handed hook from beyond the arc. wilt was more of a rim attacker than a shooter, but given the strong presence of guards in the league around the time he was playing he wouldnt have been able to play far away from the basket without getting stripped in a second. but, he did have the smoothest looking jumpshot of all 3 of them when he did use it. i would take wilt chamberlain to win out of the 3 of them, just because hed be the lucky one to hit 1 out of 30, rather than none

I think that wilt would at least hit like 2 he's got great jumping ability andthe guy scored 100 points so he's got to be able to at least hit two 3's right? Shaq, well, he can't even hit a free throw so he lost, and kareem will probably come in second because of his training with bruce lee, he'll probably use the kung-fu to hit a basket or something.

Wilt is dead, Kareem is retired, so it would have to be Shaq as he's still in the league.

If this were a contest with all of them alive and at their prime level of play, you'd have to go with Kareem based on his better shooting ability from a longer distance. I use Shaq's and Wilt's horrible free throw shooting percentages to justify this.
