Sometimes, I think, what is the point in competing against people who have an unfair advantage. Not that I am any great athlete but still...
And then on better days I think, I am healthier, I take pride in being clean, I'm not giving up now....

There is something about testifying before congress and lying under oath that appeals to me. I also think it would be great to compete in the tour de France and have my win taken away while the world watched me test positive. The consequence aren't immediate but they are there it's only a matter of time. Great athletes like Bonds and McGuire will be plagued by the allegations and live one positive test away from humiliation. Is it really worth it ? You may get the notoriety but you'll always have to justify your dishonest win to yourself at the expense of your soul. It's not worth it to me but I'm never gonna compete in the Iron Man. I'm not driven to compete like Lance or Barry and for me I'd rather not be.

LMAO at finn.... I love the position Paula Radcliff has held for years on EPO and blood doping. Even when it wasn't detectable. I think powerful athletes like Paula and Lance Armstrong(hasn't had a legitimate positive now has he) have shown that the best athletes in the world don't need anything besides hard work. I don't compete to win. I do it for the t-shirt and food line aftwards:)

Good for you. Don't give up and don't give in.

As for me, it doesn't affect me in the least since I don't even try to be athletic. I'd play tennis if my arm would allow me. Darn I can't even bowl anymore.
