Last ever BIG BROTHER?

Do you think this will be the last ever BIG BROTHER?
I mean it's so predictable, every year they put in fame hungry slappers and men just after sex.And the odd nutcase for equil measure.
The tv ratings for the show have dropped so low they are comtemplating axing the show.
Wise move?
What could be done to spice it up?

i don't really think the show has gone down hill because of the characters. i think it's because the charcters seem to be olod and boring, i mean it'[s nice to have an authority fugure, but one whose also up for a laugh. Also, i think the tasks are not enough, we want to see the housemates pulling pranks on each other, and give them something to do during the day instead of them sitting there doig nothing. that's when it gets boring, and then the ratings go down

This is not going to be the last big brother. Celebrity Big Brother and BB8 have aready been commisioned and will be screened at the respective times that they normally begin i.e January and May. And also rating haven't been dropping too much, in fact ratings are up compared to last years show. Channel 4 make a lot of money from big brother so I do not think that Big Brother will be cancelled for a long time. This is for the UK version of Big Brother.

The show is still in the Top 20 among 18-49s, and is equal to CBS' summer average in the demo.

Hey, it's cheap and it fills three hours of airtime a week. It's not like reruns of "Ghost Whisperer" would be doing any better.

There'll be another edition, probably with some "interesting(?)" changes in an effort to goose viewership.

This move of having housemates we voted out coming back in on the last week and being able to win could kill the show, because it defeats the point of voting week after week.

But it's still the top show on Channel 4, so I'll expect it to be back next summer.

I really do hope it is the last ever one, it was good the first time but now as you said it is very predictable, where do they get the people from to take part?..mental hospitals?..but then again there's nothing on our televisions and our £180 a year t.v licence is going towards nothing but crap.
