Because...right now... you know you're safe behind your keyboard.
If you flipped me off in person...I would beat the living life out of you and feed your ostrich-egg-looking bald head to the seagulls.
Why do I say this? Because I know I'm safe behind my keyboard.

In most cases, symptoms like flipping people off is a sign of unresolved anger. In men it is usually caused by pain inflicted by a woman. This woman could be your mother or mother figure. It could have also been caused by a former mate or partner.
Understand that your anger is only hurting you. When you flip a person off they dismiss the gesture within seconds and forget you. You are the one who has to live with the constant pain.
Anger at the world in general is also a sign that you are not in control in one or more areas of your life. This could be a result of your station in life and a feeling of helplessness in resolving this issue.
After a point, you become numb to life. Flipping people off and getting a reaction makes you feel something. But very soon you need another "fix". The cycle continues. By your question it doesn't seem like you are wanting to fix your problem, so I wish you the best of luck.
I have dealt with issues in my past, and I only got better when I was ready. It didn't matter how many people wanted to help me. Unless I chose to change my life, it was not going to happen. But without fail, anger is used 100% of the time to cover deep pain.
I hope you find peace in your life because 90% of all illnesses begin with stress. You may not care about yourself, but I know there has to be one person who cares about you.

You must be stressed.
You must be angry.
Try to be the best that you can be.
What you give out, you get back.
Be pleasant and you will receive pleasantness.
If this does not work seek out an anger management class.
Attend and follow the advice given!

Probably for the same reason this lady gets that urge, seems like people just don't think before they act. I wont do it, but you are welcome to do that to me if it's the way you express your anger. Not polite, but hey... Go For It!!!

because your nipples always go LA LA LA all the way into france where all the gay frenchies get to twist them and that pisses you off...just as it should...
