rudy gay has a lot of upside...he has long arms ...has a sufficient midrange and long range game...has unlimited athleticism...he plays like an offensive minded andre iguadala...he can impact a game in both ends of the court...question is whether he is ready for the nba...his maturity will be the x-factor in his matchup with roy...roy on the other hand...altho has been questioned because he lacks nba level speed...has more maturity in his game...has a good midrange game...solid freethrow shooter...good ballhandler...he also creates for teammates and has a more solid work ethic than gay, who seems disinterested at times....so with the overall game and potential it has to go with rudy gay...but with a portland team in need of help...roy will immediately produce and is a top 3 favorite of the rookie of the yr race...so ryt now roy has more stock and more opportunity to play more minutes.. therefore he will be better...(for now)

At first Roy was consistantly ranked higher than Foye before the draft. But judging by the summer league results, you can easily see Foye as a candidate for rookie of the year.
