Do you think Israel will stop the stupid war soon ?

I sure hope so!
But let me tell you this......
I am a regular person on the Internet! I downloaded Google Earth and was able to view my neighborhood and surrounding areas! ok? so now you explain this to me! An army like the Israeli one, supported by the world police; USA! with all the great technologies available and support.. they did not even get A SINGLE TARGET on Hezbollah! Right?
The Israeli check list included: Children, Schools, Houses, Shops, Buildings, Innocents, Roads, Bridges, Power Plants, More Children...etc... but no single Hezbollah Target! How is that possible!!!!!
The whole thing is driving me crazy! All I see/hear when I switch on my TV or listen to the radio station that more innocents are dying! Lebanon economy is down, the whole country is gone!!!
I totally agree with you calling this stupid! But it sure is planned for! Its not just a war... its not about two soldiers being kidnapped! ITS MORE!

It's not up to Israel to stop the war. It should be stopped by the nation that started it. Rockets from Lebanon have been fired into Israel for a long long time.
Hezbollah as guests of Lebanon didn't care how many women and childern were killed by their rockets. They just wanted to kill Jews.
These killings went on day after day. The Western world was amazed at the restraint shown by Israel. There's a limit to how much can be taken before you're froced to fight back.
Now much of the world is against Israel for finally stopping the killing of its people.
So to answer your question, Yes I think Hezbollah should stop this stupid war by giving Israel a guarantee that Israel will be left in peace from now on.

There will always be war or problems down here. It will stop when we get rid of all the muslims or when Iran make their first atomic bomb and drop it over Israel. Sorry to say - but the muslim countries hate Israel so much - so it will happen soon or later. Try look back in time - here have always been war.

Well, I think the stop of most wars would be to finally condem the USA for their wars. They are the only nation who seem to get away with killing just about anybody, anywhere. They are further in reallity just about the most unliked population on other continents. So, how do we stop wars??? Then there is ofcourse the other thing, the states funny enough arn't even capable of winning any war on their own, they can only do it with allies, so there we go again. Is it Israel or the states just starting it all off. ..... and not knowing how to end it anymore!

Israel does not want war, but sometimes you have to fight.What Israel is doing will help the whole world to be safer by getting rid of these evil people.
Hezbollah hates Israel and the USA and would like to take over the whole world.

No, because the fundementalist crusader US administration thinks that it is bringing about the second coming by supplying support to Israel. Israel won't stop until an outside force makes them stop or until they feel safe. The Arab enemies of Israel won't stop until Israel is gone. Everyone on all sides believes in their hearts that they are doing what God wants them to do. Who set this situation up, anyway?

Who truly started the war, all above me are confused... i dont rember hezbullah bombing israel first. Hezbullah took 2 soldier prisinors... so what israel has 1000's of prisionors b4 this war... 2 ISREALI soldier = 1000 DEATHS? ??!?!?!!? makes no sence they kill 100's so whos the true terroist.. israel started bombing first, attxcking first and ISREAL IS ONLY ONE KILLING CHILDEREN. Oh god that what i wish coz there's no reason for this war just Israel was for long time a monster eatin' everything, it's touching to see those innocents people killed, above; the most killed are kids, what hell the world watching? let's stop this stupid no reasons war?

Did you know who started the war? Do you think it is Israel? I shall assume that your an American if shall we say Canada started sending missiles on dear ol USA what do you think USA reaction? Youre right nuke Canada out of the map of the earth. Now who started the war again?

I don't think it's within Israel's power to stop it.
And - for me - I feel this war is very complex, somewhat veiled, and extremely costly in both man and machinery, it could even be called senseless, but it's NOT stupid by any stretch.
