I've learned to smile all the time, just in case.

Yes... like when someone talks to me and I can't understand what they're saying... sometimes it doesn't work out and they end up thinking I'm completely brain dead... oh well! What else am I supposed to do? Say "What?" 20 times over? I'll risk looking stupid because if I tried to answer when I can't understand them, I'd look stupid anyway... if I just nod and smile, there's a chance they'll think I know what they're saying!

Sometimes, but mostly I use a "smile" to cover up what I'm really thinking, like "What a weirdo this guy/girl is!" lol

Oh God....Absolutely! I have this big dumb smile that I put on whenever I don't know what's going on or whenever I cannot hear what someone is saying in a conversation!

p.s: first time to know that I'm not the only one!

I guess your right. I smile all the time. No matter if I am happy sad worried ect. I just have a hard time showing my true feelings .
I never thought about it this way before.

Sometimes, yeah! Usually I smile and nod when I didn't hear something that someone said...that's horrible though, I need to pay more attention to my friends!

Yes, sometimes in conversations where I need to be polite. Otherwise I just tune out and look away naturally...it's probably not a good habit at all.
