Where would you like to go if I gave you a free vacation, but you had to leave within the hour?
I would roadtrip to a beach...just about any beach in FL.

Definitely a beach, preferably with a fruity drink in one hand, and a good book in the other, stretched out on a chaise lounge by the pool, over looking the crystal clear ocean water and white sands....sigh.

A free vacation that I'd have to leave within the hour, would require me taking my dogs with me, so, I'll throw some stuff together, take the back seats out and put the foam mattress in the van, load the dogs, grab some music, lock the doors, and be on my way!
We'll end up at a private cottage at Daytona Beach Shores Florida, just a short walk from the Jetty, and the Light House at the "end of the beach". We'll rent a four wheeler and ride down the beach in the other direction to Daytona, to people watch, play a few games, eat, and maybe get a tattoo!
I'll be 'round to pick you up in about 12 hours, okay?

Since, I live at the beach (and it's hotter than hell here right now), I'd pick the mountains. Maybe Lake Lure in the North Carolina mountains. Some place nice and cool.

i'd probably choose the beach if the choice was between the beach and the mountains.
for the free vacation part, i'd wanna go to amsterdam. heard a lot about the place and i wanna experience all of it myself.
