Okay. I'm going to apply for an office (telephone surveyor) job and I think formal dress is a requirement. For my interview and my workdays (If I get the job LOL), I want to wear formal but cute clothes. My style is laid back (t-shirt, jeans, chucks), but I am willing to dress up if it is cute. Does anybody have any links to websites that show these kinds of formal cute clothes, if you have any idea of what I'm talking about? I'm so bad at matching and whatnot, so for those fashion divas out there- help me out!

Go to style.com.
My suggestion since your laid back, try a blacka and white polka dot tunic T, black dress pants with a slight flair and black loafers.
or sub the pants with a pencil skirt.
Try H&M, Express, Marshall's or Target.

You should invest in a couple pair of slacks, black, brown, maybe pinstiped. When you wear a pair of slacks, you can wear a cute top with it. Something from the Juniors department. I wear alot of cloths that I would otherwise go out in with a pair of jeans. Just make sure your stomach doesn't hang out, or exsesive cleavage, and most places require you have straps at least and inch thick on your tops.

I would recommend BCBG Max Azria's Ready To Wear lines. They have casual boho looks, but very clean and chic formal outfits. BCBG is pricey er though, but anything you would buy there would be worth it. Another store I would recommend would be Nordstrom. They have a wide variety of different styles and designers. They have everything ranging from casual wear to evening wear. Nordstrom isn't too pricey, but you'll find something that is definitely worth your money there.
Check out these websites!

purpose & Torrid (which has some, yet they're severe priced FYI) are particularly good in that branch for clothing. Forever21 has a clean line called Faith21- quite appealing stuff there too. For the shoes, look at the two DSW or Off Broadway if there is one on the fringe of you.

Honestly, Bebe or Juicy Couture would be your best bet. Just try thre suites because both companies work clothes have style and are fitted and tight. They are not boxy like most suites you come upon. They have suites with yellow and pink. They totally nailed what you need. Fun and cute, yet standard and sophisticated.

You can wear red. A long red skirt(formal) with a cute red tank-top and a hankerchief tied around your neck(optional). Tie your hair up in a nice bun, and you can wear red or black heals. I hope this works for you. Especially if you're a brunette.
Good luck and hope it looks good!

most of the women where I work wear jeans and t-shirts, except for the goth-looking chicks. If you have good legs, wear a dress once a week. dress like the women in car commercials.

I don't think that formal dress includes jeans and a tshirt - try a pant suit in a neutral color - black/dark blue!@
