I had a woman tell me once that she quit her job so she could qualify to get a Medicaid card so it will pay for her pregnancy. I was stunned!!! Why shouldn't she have to pay for it like the rest of us?

That's the problem today.Everyone wants something for nothing or have someone else pay for it.My wife & I weighted 7 years for a child until we had insurance to pay for her.If you can not afford a child use birth control.I am tired of paying for someone else child. I had a hard enought time raising my own.I worked to many 84 hr. weekes to make ends meet to give my money to others.

That is weird.When I was pregnant with my oldest son 21 years ago,Medicaid covered the pregnancy and child birth.Then Anthony was automatically covered the second he was born.I also qualified for WIC. I worked full time until right until I had him.Usually the medicaid office will have her go out and "job search".Until she has a job or until she is so far along that she is not employable.I think too many people are misusing the government systems,that are designed to help those truly in need.

Oh yes, quite a system we have here in America! Doctor bills are ridiculously high, even if you just go in because your ear hurts. Medication in this country is unaffordable to the average guy. Once people are on welfare it's very difficult to ever get back off because the minute you make a dime extra the system takes it...it's screwed up is what it is. But what if she makes minimum wage and can't? Get a better job? What if everyone did that? Then who would work the minimum wage jobs? Oops, I'm not the one who's supposed to be asking the questions lol. Bottom line...yes, she should have to pay her own bills like the rest of us.

These people now days only want things given to them and don't worry that others are paying for it.They are rude and have no morals so we can't really do anything about it but deal with it.

Medcaid will pay for tubal ligations (sterilizations) in some states. Hmmm; seems like an option to me!
