Its clogging up the vent and I'm afraid it will cause it to burn up the blow dryer.

This happens to me all the time. The best thing I've found so far is a damp Q-Tip. Rub it along the dust/lint and it gathers together so you can pick it off. Very time consuming but none the less, it'll prevent you from blowing out your dryer and having to buy a new one.

Unplug the blow dryer, grab a pair of tweezers, and remove the lint.

It probably has a removable filter in it. If so, pull it out and pick the lint off. If not try to stick a crevice tool on a vacuum cleaner in there.

I use a small fingernail cleaning brush to clean my hair drier. Yes, if not cleaned it will sometimes cause trouble with your drier if not cleaned.
