There is a Star Trek 11 that is currently considered to be "in production", with a scheduled release sometime in 2008. J.J. Abrams (the guy behind "Lost") is currently listed as the director.

It's rumored to be a prequel to the original series, featuring a young Kirk and Spock. But pretty much everything about it is rumor at this point.

Hopefully not. I hope that those Trekkie geeks finally hold too little of a market interest for them to make another series or movie. With any luck Star Trek Enterprise did poorly enough that they will get an original idea in Hollywood, or more likely just exploit another old idea until they drive it into the ground.

I am pretty sure that there will be several more and with far superior effects. One day even a reality show version will happen, pity we will not be there to see and enjoy it. ;-)
