You need a degree in order to do a course in social work. The course is either 2 or three years. Good luck with it and if you do get a career in social work, make a difference and do some good unlike many of the useless ones out there.

The social workers that I have met ,all seem to have a degree in stupidity,a doctorate in gullibility and a lack of common sense.

In the UK you need a social work degree. This is full time over three years. Look at ucas website for more info.

It takes four years to get your bachelor's in social work. As far as the profession goes, you have to have a lot of energy, compassion, and "big shoulders" (you have to have the ability to stand up to people).
