if i cann't get my place back so is there any way to increse the rent . Is this fair that the tenant income from that place in thousand or lacks but the landlord get only some hunders Rs. pls ans that question as soon as i realy in need

How long was the lease for? From the sound of it, it may have been a 50 year lease. If that's the case there's nothing that you can do until the lease expires as long as the tenant pays the rent.

Fairness doesn't enter into the equation. That rent might look very low today, but it was probably very high when the lease was signed. You can raise the rent if the lease allows it. If it doesn't, then you're stuck with the low rents.

Talk to an attorney to find out what your rights are.

Are you saying your grandmothers owns the shop? If she does the Landlord works for her. Then it is just a matter of what the terms of the lease is. The lease is a legal document. If your grandmother was only leasing and gave it up, there is no reason to expect anything, especially not 1971 lease prices.

in a recent Judgement of Supreme court,It has been stated that if the shop or rented establishment is required for the personal use of the owner ,the tenant has to evacuate it.you need to see a good Lawyer,Where is the location of this shop also matters (city/state)

If you legally own the building you could evict the tenants provided they don't have a signed contract for a set amount of years.

if legally its urs the no body has any right to capture that place. u can file a FIR
