What is your idea of peace? For me, it's being surrounded by candles, nice music, a lake, and watching the sun go down. And to know there are no wars going on in the world.

the things you are listed can be seen as peaceful for many people. But sometimes candles would annoy you, a nice music is not always nice.. So I think that's why the thing that makes us peaceful change from time to time. Generally it is not a specific thing- it is just related to where we feel peaceful no matter the surrounding things.

A nice cup of hot tea, hearing my children talking and not fighting, doing yoga, sunrises and sunsets, the sound of waves, the feeling of the cool night air coming in and watching the stars sparkle...even the weird frog noises from down at the pond, a warm bubble bath, the view from a mountain in Montana where you feel you are all alone in the world, watching the birds in my birdbath.

Being outside alone amidst nature and enjoying the sights and sounds and smells of the great outdoors.

Taking a nice long relaxing tub bath.

Reading a good book cuddled up in a warm blanket at night.

Yours sounds very nice too!

All of what you said I also consider peaceful. I like taking drives out of the city into rural areas, love camping, like walking or riding very early in the morning - when few people are around. I adore nature - even if I can only get to a city park - as long as it is before the crowds get there.

Peaceful is having a sense of inner stillness.

As I once read in a book.

Be still and know that I am God.
