that was pretty good pay for a simple task.
if you couldn't even do that right, you should have given her back the money she paid you. It could cost her twice that to treat a malnourished animal at the vets office.

The key word is responsibility, and you have shown you have none.

For $10 dollars a day you had a very easy job to do. Heck for 10 days plants only need to be watered every other day. And just how hard can it be to open a can or bag of cat food each day!

You obligated yourself by accepting the money and didn't follow through. If you had, the cat and plants would be fine.

If you are telling the truth then I think you are very irresponsible. How could you do something like that??? You need to pay her $100.00. The plants can be replaced and I find it hard to believe that they would die after three more days after the week you said you would take on the task. You did not feed the cat at all and never once did you water the plants. They would not be in such bad shape had you done what you should have done. I don't blame this woman for crying . Depending how old you are , she should have punished you. or turned you into animal control. for neglect. You smart aleck. You are the one who got the discount. For the rest of her life she will remember you. Your reputation is ruined in her book. Poor kitty cat. Think how the cat must have suffered. You know what they say about people who do not treat animals good. I bet you come in first place.

I would offer the money back, I would not feel right by keeping it. If you really did the things she paid for, why did the cat look malnourished and the plants die?

Uh-oh.

Do you think you got a little mixed up?

Perhaps you watered the cat and fed the plants. A mistake ANYONE could make.

I'd offer her a small discount to rectify your relationship.......

That was a dumbass mistake. I suggest you pay back all the money, not a portion. You almost killed her cat, and really did kill all her plants. For god sake have some pity for the person.

Are you serious? If you are, then you should return the money because you didn't hold up your end of the arrangements.

I hope you are just wasting our time and your own because you're bored, and not actually telling us about a true situation.
