any musicians out there? I need some advice?

i'm in a screamo/emo rock band as the guitarist i need some advice on geting a record company to sign us..any ideas??

all of the people i know that start emo bands get signed in like 6 months, so it doesn't seem like it should be too difficult. just get a myspace, and make an e.p.- sending out press packets couldn't hurt, either.

Well, sorry but I'm not emo... but since emo seems to be popular now, you should probably get a label easily... since rock isn't very popular or "in" as they call it nowadays... I guess it will be harder to start a rock band lol :P Good luck though :) -KTULU-
