Depends on the occasion. I like translucent champagne tones when going out at night - and very fine glitter but not too much.

I.D. Bare Minerals. I've been using it for a couple of months now and have found it very universal for all skin shades. They have an all-over-face color that you apply over the foundation and it gives even the plainest person great subtle color. I have tan skin and brown hair too and have tried 3 different shades of the all-over-face color and they all look good on tanned skin. Also their eyeshadow colors are endless and work the same way. It's very expensive stuff but a little goes a long way and It's definitely the best makeup out there.

For the eyeshadow, once you're going for in basic terms a independent look, i could use a easy brown and positioned it on your lid and positioned a chocolately dark brown shade on your crease for definition. once you're going for a dramatic look, then black eyeshadow and eyeliner could artwork completely. As for the face, attempt some bronzer! Bronzer seems particularly organic on tan-skinned ladies!

For your eyes, use a shade a little darker than your skin - umber or reddish maroon is a nice eyeshadow, and eyeliners. For blush, maybe something near the maroon shade but more pink. For lipstick, gold or chocolate gold is my favorite - look at pictures of Halle Berry - her make up works well with tanned skin women.

i have brown eyes too! for my eye makeup i use the almay brand eyeshadows. the ones that are made for brown eyes. it really makes my eye color pop out more. they even have eyeliner and mascara for brown eyes too. since it's summer i don't use foundation or powder. but if you want, you could use some i guess. hope this helps! :)

for your eyes you should have black eyeliner and black mascara. a pink eyeshadow color would look nice also a plum colored eyeshadow would look pretty on you! oh and probably a dark green.

for your lips, you should always try a sheer followed by a dark pink then like a wine color.

hope this helps!
