Trust your instincts and your capability to make choices for your self, seems in the past others have not allowed to make you, your choices, or you gave away your power so often.

Now take charge of your choice making process. Just go by the first thing that comes to your mind.

It might be a low self esteem issue too. When you start trusting yourself with decisions in life, you will start letting go of your anxiety regarding choices and stand by your side them rather instead abandoning them so often.

Respecting your choices is self respect, no matter what they are, and the more you 'choose' to respect your choices the better your self respect with grow.

All the best!

Be thankful you have a mind to change!!! Being to single minded indicates lack of flexibility and inability to grasp new concepts or ideas, however one must try to find what idea or concept fits your way of life best, and yes, stick to that, but dont lose sight of everything else around you.

Stop watching television and stop being influenced by the outside world. Only in this way will be able to find out YOUR opinions on things, YOUR thoughts, YOUR dreams, and not those of other people. The only way to find yourself, and not change your mind on things constantly, is to separate yourself from the world and find out who YOU really are.

admit that there is no such thing as truth. changing your mind is a perfectly acceptable response to changing circumstances such as increasing age, differing study/employment/relationship situations. it just allows you to take an appropriate point of view on your life.

trust in your own ability to make good decisions. Try to base those decisions on reason first, your preferences second. The hardest thing for me in making decisions and sticking to them, is trying to ensure that everyone is satisfied. You can't please everyone! There is always going to be someone dissatisfied with your decision. If, however, you were put in the position to make the call, they have abdicated their right to complain about any decision you make.
Trust yourself.
