first of all he is not gay. he taps so much ***. he was dating that chick from trl and then someone else. he's got girls all over him and he's playing great baseball. he is having a phenomenal season. he is the captain of the NYY and his skill, focus, and leadership show why he is. the guy is helping the yankees tremendously.

Heterosexual! I have never heard that rumor. Way too great of a player and too clutch! I admire the guy.
Jeff Garcia is obviously gay -- not fooling anyone Jeffrey.

But how anyone can say Jeter is gay? If Jeter is a "Bass" then I would be shocked... not that there's anything wrong with that.

I am a Red Sox fan, and I could care less if he is straight, gay, bi, or in to beastiality. I can't stand the Yankees but I RESPECT Derek Jeter, he's a great ball player. Seeing him dive into the stands a few years ago was probably the best indication of how determined he is to win. I respect that.
Just don't get me started on A-Rod. (The Boston media has had fun about the slap he gave Bronson Arroyo during the 2004 ALCS-with him carrying a purse and having Hamburger helper mascot hands.)

Jeter is NOT gay! He dates women such as Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba and Vanessa Minnillo but, he broke up with all of them. The most recent one was Vanessa Minnillo but then she started dating Nick Lachey and she's still with Lachey. He has a great batting average!!!!! Now I think his average is .355. WOW!!!!! Derek Jeter is the best baseball player EVER!!!!!!

Gay or not--who cares? The guy is great pro and class. I highly doubt anyone who has hooked up with Mariah "I dresslike a porn star because my music sucks" Carey and that extremely hot Miss India babe who was Miss Universe or some such is "gay." If so, it's a brilliant cover.

People that call themselves Red Sox fans call him that. actual Red Sox fan acknowledged that and know he is a great player and is the face of the Yankees. This is coming from a Yankees Fan I don't tell Sox' fan the 2005 championship was a fluke b/c it wasn't. People that are on the bandwagon leave comments like that.
