Will J.P. Losman finally prove himself? Or will Kelly Holcomb have to take over again? Do you think Craig Nall has a chance?

While I don't think Losman will ever step up and prove himself to be what the deluded ex-GM Tom Donahoe hoped he would become, I do think he'll end up being given the starting job. The Bills have to find out whether or not this kid has what it takes and the only way to know for sure is to play him, no matter how badly he performs. There is no question that Losman makes too many mistakes and looks panicky in the pocket. In that respect, Holcomb is a far more polished and professional QB. Nall injured his hamstring in training camp and likely will not be a factor anytime soon, if at all. But whomever starts, he will have to play behind a patchwork offensive line, and that's not going to bode well for even a savvy veteran QB.

I say we should throw Losman to the lions and see what he can do. He may surprise us all and prove himself worthy of being a 1st round draft pick, though I very much doubt that. The worst case scenario would be that he plays so poorly that the Bills finish dead last in the NFL. But that's not nearly as bad as it sounds. If the Bills actually did finish last in the league they could draft Brady Quinn, the best QB prospect I've seen in years, with the #1 overall pick in next April's NFL Draft. And then, after all these years of misery, Buffalo would FINALLY have a legitimate heir apparent for Jim Kelly. I could definitely live with that.

GO BILLS!

J.P. Lohsman's job all the way. Holcomb has proved time and time again that he is a great back-up but a below average starter. Nall has no chance. The Bills have to let their big money baby carry them this year, sink or swim.

Def J.P and I completely disagreed with the desicion last year of sitting J.P the Bills needed to let him work through his mistakes just like Eli, Peyton, Elway and many others who started off aweful then developed into great Qbs ( Eli is not there yet but will be). But I think J.P will def win the job and hopefully have a better yeat then last. I dont think that will to hard.
