Is it worth the splurge to pay more for nail polish? Or does that 0.93 cent kind work just as well?

I think the less expensive stuff works okay. Like: Sally Hansen; Avon; Revlon.

Use a basecoat and topcoat, though.

occasionally I treat myself to the $7 OPI stuff, but the $1 stufff works just as wll at first. After time the cheap stuff is too clumpy and two months after I buy it I end up throwing it away. The OPI works great till I use the last of it.

The cheaper stuff usually works just fine but sometimes the more expensive nailpolishes are a higher quality and wont chip as much

I use both but the more expensive stuff usually seems to last longer. I like the brushes on most expensive brands better too - seems to apply better...

the cheep stuff works just as well, just remember to give it time to dry between coats, and even though it says u don't need base coat and top coat, it lasts longer if u do use them.
