I would expect his behavior in NYC not PA. Anyway speak up in a nice way and if being a gofer is not in your job description let them know in a nice way that you do no have the time to run errands because you have your own work to do. . At my old job I was good for writing memos and posting signs around my desk that talked about certain rude behaviors and if someone ignored it I usually ignored their request or pointed to the sign. It worked and we maintained a good working environment. A lot of times people are so caught in their work they forget about work etiquette and other people's feelings. They just need reminders, so don't always take it to heart. Oh, stop lifting those heavy boxes and push them across the floor..that should draw some attention and help;-)

I'm from PA and I'm not sure if this is the problem but some rural men tend to treat women with less respect. It probably stems from their farming fathers or grandfathers, like in my family, who just didn't have time to respect their wives/other women. They worked all day and went to bed when they came home.

P.A means public attorney. One is assigned to you by the county when you can't afford one of your own.

It means "Professional Association." This is a form of corporation open to professionals, such as attorneys & accountants, who are, in most states, not permitted to limit their personal liability by practicing through traditional corporations. It allows them to have the tax benefits of a corporation while still maintaining personal liability to their clients. Some states use the term "P.C. " for "Professional Corporation." It is the same thing.
