There are a lot of things you can do to help. Try these to start:
Push Ups
Pull Ups
Dips (sit on the edge of a bench or chair with your legs straight out in front of you. Then scoot your butt off the chair and use your arms to support you. Then lower and raise yourself with your arms and keeping your legs out straight in front of you)
Hand Stand push ups against a wall. (these really build your arms and shoulders)
Take a back pack and fill it with books and use it to do curls.
Most of all practice shooting. You will get strong enough eventually to shoot like you want to. Learn to use your legs when you shoot and you will get there.
Good luck!

I'm not aware of any. In order to get stronger, you have to train against resistance, which means weights, machines, bands. There are some exercises where you use your body weight for resistance: sit-ups, push-ups, tricep extensions on a bench, but resistance is still involved.

having the ball above your head when you release is techinique - not strength. and, since you actually shoot with your legs - your arms and hands are simply a "release point"(think "launch pad" for your arms and hands and "rocket engine" for your legs and you'll see what i mean), you'll definitely need to strenghten them by using weights. you'll need the extra body strength you'll get from weight-training once you start playing with the "big boys".
and, if you don't believe me, ask your basketball coach.
