Hi,

It really does Vary from breed to breed and then from breeder to breeder.

If you have a non-pedigree cat - you can probably get it free, mongrel dogs for about £100 (as a puppy) But again you can get one as a rehome for free - but be careful of these as they tend to have a good reason for needing rehomed.

We paid £300 for our Persian, but some people wanted £500.

Check out this website for the available cats and dogs

I paid 150 english pounds for a pedigree cat a few years ago. And a dog can be 300 english pounds for a pedigree one. But strays and mongrels are just as nice and I bet 35 would get you a nice doggy or *****. And they would love you with all their heart..

My son paid 2 pounds 40 pence for 3 dead frozen baby mice yesterday, to feed his corn snake, from a shop in Falkirk!....Scottish pets are expensive!

Kittens around £30 from shelter. £30 - £40 for dog.

If you want a pedigree mutt it can go up to £500 depending on breed and breeder.

in many cases at a humane Society they are $50-$60 for cats and around $70-$seventy 5 for canines. I in many cases seem on the shelters that kill them first and undertake an animal on loss of life row. yet once you undertake at a non-kill shelter you're making greater area for greater animals so they'd undertake greater animals on loss of life row. the two way you're saving an animals life!

Please go to a rescue centre and get one that desperately wants a home. You may be asked to pay a bit to cover their costs for vaccinations etc. but it won't be anywhere near the price of buying one from a breeder or shop.
