Putting your mind on your studies is easier said than done when matters of the heart are interfering.
You need to go out of your way a little bit.
I highly recommend joining a study group or two or three.
Even grabbing up a study partner or two.
Right now you are requiring a little companionship of the HUMAN kind.
It doesn't matter if it is male or female, or a combination of the two.
Heck, be honest, tell them you had a break up and need to concentrate on your studies.
They'll understand.
We've all been then.
Tell 'em to work you to death! LOL
They are in the group because they need to focus also.
AND.....you'll get to know some new people along the way.

Without further info, it's hard to know how to answer. However, you need to be aware that people don't always give "straight up" the actual reason why they're leaving someone. It is fairly common that the one leaving someone might give a reason other than the one they believe led them to that decision. Unless you yourself have good reason to believe you were told the truth, then you can always convince yourself that, since you don't know what the real truth is, then you don't need to worry much about it since correcting the real reason could be beyond your control. If a female really loves a male (assuming they're anywhere over 18, at least, due to maturity factors) it's unlikely she'd leave him simply because he does not apply himself enough to studies. An exception could be a gal leaving a guy because he doesn't concentrate on studies IF she feels that his not studying responsibly will result in his getting a lower salary or lead to others "saying stuff" about him or them both. If something like that were the case, you have to wonder how much she truly loves or loved you vs. herself or what people have to say.

Believe it or not, getting into an exercise (or at least walking) habit will help, a lot. Playing cheerful music also works! Make sure that you are getting enough sleep, and eating properly. Drink plenty of water - and little, if any, caffeine or alcohol. Pot will not help - as it will intensify what you are feeling.
Your studies may determine who you become in the future - and, therefore, are more important than anything else right now. You must discipline yourself into doing what is right for you - and that is your studies.

Keep some hobbies. I am sure that you must have some hobbies.join some gym or music class and try to engage yourself in some other activity then you will automatically forget her and then you can easily concentrate on your studies. I have tried this many times and believe me it has worked.

You have to realize that she has moved on to other things, and so should you. Why would you want to spend one more second of your time thinking of someone who isn't thinking of you? You deserve better! Get through your studies and find someone who appreciates you!
