well first of all if u had downloaded the file from internet from ur email or from a site then check that whether the file is still there or not.
if not then you willk have to download it again
but if it still there then it might b that it wight b confused in which file to play the online one or the file u have on ur computer
then if thats not the case then the other thing that u can see is that whether the file is either removed from that particular location on internet or may be the possibility can b that u might not b connected to the internet and still its trying to go to internet and try to locate the file but since the connection is not established so its not finding it
possible solutions-
- if u dont have downloaded either download it or connect to internet and then play the file
- or go to options and disable the option that takes the playinr to the internet and then try playibng the file.

if this video is already downloaded on your pc. activate your windows media player then click library... then click to the left of your screen where it says all video if it is in your pc drive anywhere this will find it once your pc gives a list of all videos scroll and find the one your looking for. NOTE: this will be easier if you ask the person that sent it the name of the file. if your talking bout a streaming video(live, or video feed media player is not a great source for this go to your yahoo friend list if your daughter/son is on it and click there name then have them invite you to a video chat.

~ It sounds like it was hosted on a website that at the moment you're not able to access, or it was hosted for a predetermined length of time and it's no longer there.
Try again a little later, or speak to the family member that sent you the link.
If it is still hosted, you should be able to download it and save it to your computer and view it whenever you want. (Right click on the video when gain access to it again, and choose "save target as" and follow the prompts.)

Had you saved the file to your computer? If not, it may be gone.. otherwise, if someone sent it to you in your email, it's still there.. however, if they sent it and you deleted it, wellll...
