About five years ago, my first love (the man I was going marry a year later and whom I had been with for 8 years) left me for another woman. They married a year later and are still together. I ended up going lower in my life than I ever did and tried to kill myself. THe happiest moment of my life is when I met my husband and had my sweet son. Life has a way of working out.

My husband died four years ago this week. That's the saddest experience for me. It's difficult to imagine much that would be sadder.

Probably the death of my first rabbit...
I know I wasn't there to love her enough and I feel guilty about that now, so now I'm taking better care and giving more love to my other pets. I had to carry her out to the backyard when we buried her, I remember putting a flower in her box that we buried her in. I learned the saying "you don't appreciate things until they're gone" is true..
I hope that she's in a better place and free now. :(

My comrade next to me been shot and died right in front of me. In
fierce fire fight in Mogadishu. I think it was my fault, because my gun got jammed and I didn't cover him in that alley. But, to me it wasn't really sad, but it will be qualified as a sad, because I think I could save his life if my gun would work.

Going on vacation to see my family and visiting my uncle, and the next day he had a heart attack and died........yeah, it was just a couple of months ago.....im still sad..........
