what do animals think of people? are there really animal whispers?

Most domestic animals (pets) love people unless they've been abused. For domesticated animals that are not pets, I would guess that the feeling is more one of dependency than affection. Wild animals, of course, fear people, and rightly so.

I think that there are 'animal whisperers' or at least people who can communicate with animals on a different level than other humans are able to. I say this because I feel I have a small degree of ability in this area myself.

With rare exceptions, animals don't really think. They have learned behavior, instinct and reactions, but no dog sits there and says to itself "This guy's crazy, he gets into cars instead of chasing them".

All this "whisperer" nonsence started because someone wrote a book called "The horse whisperer". The author of that book spent alot of time observing horses, and learned how they communicate with body language, then learned how to mimic that communication as a human.

Now the term means anyone who thinks they have some sort of mystical understanding of an animal, instead of someone with the patience and intelligence to sit down and try to learn about them.

I'm sure some animals love us while others hate us. Yeah I think animal whispers are real. I mean how else can you explain what they do?

For the most part they try not to think of us at all. Wild animals consider us dangerous predators or just plum crazy [unpredictable]. Pets either fawn all over us or just take full advantage of their situation.
And yes, there are people who can understand and 'communicate' with animals. Nothing magical about it. It's called 'paying attention'.

yes i believe there is but the feeling is called empathy when u can have that feeling then it works for humans as well thats how come when u see a frightened animal and u convince it to come to it does because u have empathy and it feels it too
