but I had damaged my toe, it was just better when I managed another, full force stub.
Bleeding, torn skin, lots of cursing, the works. This is the 3rd such event
Now, for the question...
what do you reckon the karma is? What have I done that my left big toe needs to be repeatedly maimed - just as I get excited about it getting better!?

Maybe it's just fate painted a giant bull's eye on your left big toe. Be very careful It might gradually evolve into worse injuries such as an elevator door closing on your big toe or a car running over all your toes while you're wearing open toed sandals.
Watch out for that falling brick!

Ditto. I have enjoyed wearing flip flops to keep my feet cool in this heat & to look trendy.
Unfortunately, playing football in flip flops is not good. The ball hit my big toe head on, my toe nail split & casualty just confirmed that my big toe is broken.
Instead of swearing (we were in a kids play area) I said flip flops several times - that helped with the pain.
In that big toe is two screws from a previous op, so I think we are both destined to wear clumpy shoes instead of vanity.

,,,,,,,,,,mmmmBig Toes and little shoes really don't go together do they? the same can be said about pea sized brains....just think of the footwear of clowns.....we all think that they are worn to make us laugh....but no.....A) Its because they all have flat feet. and B) because they all have very, very long toes. Its all to do with in-breeding, which is the probable cause of all your misfortunes......do your self a favour and wear Steel Toe Capped slippers.........thats if you have'nt fallen asleep reading this.
