Water finds its own level.
Logical thinking people hang out at the same pub. Lower class illiterates do not feel comfortable there.
They do not understand deep complex critical thinking so they feel resentful towards smart people and vote Republican to show it.
Plus Repugs know how to appeal to the base nature of low IQ people. They cannot think but they can feel!

I wouldn't believe that study without seeing it. I think there are smart people on both sides, and not so intelligent people as well. If it was proven that Democrats on average had higher IQs, I would guess it would be because many of the so called "intellectual elite" are liberals. If a relatively small number of Democrats had extemely high IQs, it would skew the average.

Where did you see this study?
It has been proven repeatedly by nonpartisan sources that political affiliation has NOTHING to do with intelligence. If you think that people who vote Democrat are always smarter, I recommend you take a look at the pages of the people I'm trying to fight right now, who have resorted to infantile tactics in defaming my character, right here on Y!A.
By the way, I'm an Independent, though I have voted for many Republicans.

I am a republican--middle of the road--and I have an IQ in the range of the high 140s. This is well above the average.
