YES IN WISCONSIN, WE HAD NO RAIN FOR 2 MONTHS AND 105 DEGREE WEATHER, OR GRASS WAS BROWN AND CRUNCHY, THE PAST 2 WEEKS WE HAVE HAD RAIN, AND OUR GRASS IS GREEN AGAIN

Yes. The burning actually releases nutrients that can be used by the roots, so grass usually comes back greener than before.

Rarely do grass roots die when the tops are burned off. They usually replenlish the growing tops after things cool down and the rains renew them.

if you take out burned roots, a new set of wild grass will come out in time. But if its landscaping grass.... I don't know. As long as the roots are not burnt, I guess they will.

If the fire did not burn the roots, maybe.

I would just buy some new grass seeds and sprinkle them over the ground. (the seeds are turquoise colored)

Yes, it will come back from the roots.

There was a gasoline truck that caught fire on a highway near my house. The ground was totally charred black. Six months later, you can't tell where the fire was.

Nature heals herself!
