how can we chose the sex of the baby?

Two friends of mine had a book years ago that explained some of the different ways to have a boy or girl. I don't know the name of the book but both had girls and wanted a boy. So, they did everything the book said and had each a boy! I have 3 boys and didn't know about this book until after my third boy. I have to say the things they did to have the boy are things I did naturally. Eat healthy foods, be active. If you eat junk foods (really, like if you crave ice cream, eat it.) and if you are less active, you will more likely have a girl. Look for the book. I am sure you will find it. It was written in the early 90's.

I don't believe that sex selection is legal in the United States. However, there are doctors in other countries who have figured out an artificial insemination process where only embryos of one sex are implanted in the woman's uterus. If a pregnancy results, the baby will be of the chosen sex.

You really can't unless some biocompany has build up a factory near your town, where you can give samples of your DNA and your loved one's DNA and create the perfect baby with the sex you want it to be...Unless that is the case, you should be happy with the sex of the baby you get and enjoy them.

You can't. You're not going to like this answer, but there are so many couples who can't conceive a child at all. If you're able to get pregnant and grow a healthy baby, then consider yourself very lucky, as there are people who desperately want a child - and would be overjoyed to have a child of either gender.
