You shouldn't be getting those pop-ups when you go in yahoo chat (invisible or not). You probably have spyware / adware in your system. Try cleaning your PC regularly with Ad-Aware (recommended by Microsoft).

Either someone in the chat room is spamming an you get it because they see you are in the room, which means they know your mesenger id. or soemone is using a software that already has your id and knows when you are on.
It may be able to detect when you are on even invisable (but not invisable to other chatters in the room, or the soft ware is set up t search chatrooms (which is likely ) and send spam to all chatters.

Yahoo is full spammer bots if your in the rooms you'll constantly
get ims from them.
go to another sight with spam free chat.

common when you are in yahoo cchat,you are actually visible to people as you are in chatting room,so u get mails from sex sites.
hav u subscribed to those sites?
but if you are online to yahoomessenger bt actually you are invisible. than u cant get those msgs.as you hav not selected to enter a chat room.

go to setting/preferences and chose ignore anyone not on my buddy list and the bots will still be in the room but will not be able to im you(instant message)

Yep, looks like somebody else has your yahoo identity and password and is logging onto your account from yet another computing device. you probable would desire to alter your password. Sorry - sounds like my answer is slightly previous due!
