What kind of firewall do you have. If I had more specifics, I could help you get around it. Generally speaking, you have to go into your firewall's control panel and allow the ports/application to access the internet. Without more specific information, I can't really be more specific.

You have to be more clear, first I need to know what firewall you are using.
MSN needs internet access with server rights.
And of course its not being blocked because its such a safe program, think about it, its a dangerous program and it is sending a lot of information to M$.
