The nearest galaxy is Andromeda which is 2.2 million lightyears away so it would take 2.2 million years.at the speed of light.

the closest one is called the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy
and is 25,000 light years away from us. what that means is if you travelled at the speed of light, you would take 25000 years to reach Canis.
