Hehe, Global Warming is deffinately occuring right now. Less than 2% of scientists disagree with that fact, but the real question is weather it will destroy the world and if so, When? They say that humanity had exasperated the effects of Global Warming and that it is progressing much quicker than originally expected. Despite all of this, if it continues at the predicted rate, then it will be 100 years before half the species of animals alive today go extinct. Supposedly, by that time Florida will be completely consumed by water do to the polar ice-caps melting and raising sea levels. There will be a "Global Warming" between 8-10 degrees. Although the effects of "Global Warming" are happening now and we have the power to decrease them, we don't have the power to stop it. Global Warming is inevitable and has occured many times over the existance of the Earth. You should keep in mind ways to decrease the effects of Global Warming, but remember that it has occurred before and humanity "did" survive.

No. The actual global warning is only a chapter in the history of the Earth. Ice and warm ages are regular cyclic periods. The humans survive the last frozen over Europe and other parts of the planet. We have and excellent capacity of adaptation like most of the animals.
My concern is some stupid act like a nuclear war, even so the life will continued in the planet with or without the humans.

End? NO. Possibly change the way we live on this planet? Yes. There is evidence that this earth has seen at least 4 major ice ages so cycles of warming and cooling are normal and the world (this planet) has survived them all. Now if a major flux of the climate happened now could it drastically effect human life on this planet? Absolutely. I do not beleive that global warming is strictly a man made problem. It seems to me that our wasteful and polluting life styles could either accelerate or intesify what really is the earths normal cyclical climate changes.

i dont think that the world will end in 20 years. the world will only end either when god wants it too or the sun gobbles us up. anyhow global warming is a totaly different thing from the world ending. global warming will eventualy cause the humanity to end due to radiation. and the world will definately not end due to nuclear weapons. if all the nuclear weapons in the world went of right now at the same time, they produce the same amount of energy that a hurrican does in 10 mintues. thats a fact!!! dont f*ck with mother nature. just goes to proove how powerful god is compared to humanity.

Ted Danson said 18 years ago that the world would end in 10 years. Many have predicted the end of the world. There's really no logical basis for their argument.

i don't think the world will end in 20 years time but i wont be surprise if it ends by global warming eventually as more natural disasters are bound to happen like tsunami, hurricane, earthquakes and even now the ice at arctic are melting down which is too soon according to scientists..well if it's meant to be, its meant to be....

the world may not end, but we sure Will. global warming is serious, so don't blow it off. even changing the worlds average temperature by one degree can drastically alter the world. it's like one wrong wire in a computer. it just won't work right.

DEC. 21 2012'
As predicted by the Mayan's Calendar. Global warming is not caused by anything we did, so much as who we have become.
It is mankinds destiny....not to worry though the Earth will survive, as well as mankind. Only there won't be 5.5 billion living it will be more like 500 million. We have always known that we are here only for a short time.
The Earth needs to cleanse herself, like we need to take a bath. Our lives will continue much like they have for thousands of years.
Take heart in knowing that there is somebody greater than ourselves that is at our side if we would only turn to him. He is at the right hand of the father almighty. His name is Jesus Christ.
Pray and ask for his redemption so that you may be saved. perhaps not in body but in mind and spirit.
